Poetry/Art Zine – thirteen masks

Hi friends.

I wanted to let you all know that I have just published & listed for sale my second zine titled ‘thirteen masks’. The zine contains 12 of my original poems with an accompanying black & white mask artwork (also original) that relates directly to each poem.

This is not a slick, print-perfect zine – it was made by hand using rudimentary DIY zine-making techniques to replicate the character of the original 1960s analog zine style. Every copy of this zine is slightly different because they are duplicated from a cardboard master copy which was made by printing every artwork individually & cutting/gluing them in place, as well as using a typewriter to copy, cut & glue in every poem.

‘thirteen masks’ was created around the theme of masks, with my poetry & artwork exploring both the help & hindrance masks provide to ones identity & personal relationships.

Each zine is A5 in size, all with a red hand-stitched spine & plaited bookmark with attached charm.
